Here's an interesting essay on the fraud perpetrated by Reuters and other News Media. Hezbollywood is alive and well!

As he usually does, Michael Coren gets it right.

AIDS 2006 – XVI International AIDS Conference – 13-18 August 2006 - Toronto Canada
I wonder if anyone will have a speech on the positive impact monogomy and fidelity would have on HIV-AIDS reduction. Or another on the negative aspects of sodomy and promiscuity on health. Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha! (I just got laughed of the world's stage.)

BBC NEWS | Europe | At-a-glance: Flight chaos
Will this be the new normal? Will it lead to a world war where rogue Islamist states and terrorists join forces against the West? I wonder.
This is a mystery to me. Why has the lib-left sided with Hezbollah and other Islamist terrorists? Think about it: They are siding with those who refuse girls an education, execute girls for getting raped, and demand that women hide in their homes or under layers of clothing. The lib-left feminists are siding with the ultimate misogynists. I don't understand. The only reason I can come up with is that the lib-left hates Israel, the USA, and even Western society and that they love those who hate those whom they hate. At bottom, liberals are nihilists.

Stephen Taylor - Conservative Party of Canada Pundit: CBC blindsides Harper
This clip reveals the bias, cynicism and hypocrisy of the CBC. That Canadians are extorted tax dollars to pay for this is sheer immorality.

The Call to Reformation people are calling for Canadian Reformed brethren and consistories to liberate themselves from our federation's decisions to enter into EF with other Reformed churches and, ultimately, to secede from the federation. They write:
Once it has been determined that these conclusions are justified, brothers and sisters should write to their own consistories in order to show why these decisions should not be upheld. They must also ask these consistories to liberate themselves and their congregations from the consequences of these unscriptural decisions.I note that some of the signatories of the call have already seceded (even though they call themselves "... living members of the Canadian and American Reformed Churches." I'm not sure how you can be a member and a seceder at the same time). But as for those who have not (yet) seceded, they ought either to acquiesece in the decisions that have been repeatedly and unsuccessfully appealed or secede. Not to secede but, rather, to raise a ruckus in the church smacks more of "raising discord, sects and mutiny" (to put it in the terms of the old Lord Supper form) than correct behaviour.

I find it very interesting that the Call to Reform now charges various of our sister churches with having an improperly supervised table rather than an open table. That still begs the question whether having EF with a church federation that practices an "improperly supervised table" makes one a false church and calls for secession. I think the approach of our Austalian sister churches is better. Recently (in the context of a decision about the recent Dutch secession), their synod said:
It is a serious matter to allow deformation to go unchallenged, but it is also a serious matter to separate when it is not warranted. The injunctions to remain one in the Lord (eg. John 17 and Eph 4) sometimes even when serious problems arose, as in Corinth, can be read repetitively in the Bible (cf Paul’s letters to the Corinthians, Ephesians, and Colossians). The letters of Paul and the other apostles constantly remind us of this.A very biblical approach from Australia!
I have been away on vacation for the past few weeks. Just back now! A few people (Dennis Bratcher and John van Til) left comments which were not posted. I have also switched from my old comment provider to Blogger's own. That caused the loss of past comments and necessitated a new template. I have reposted the most recent comments (see here and here) and added the ones of Dennis (here) and John (here). Clear as crystal? Probably as clear as mud.
