A prescient Réal Caouette

I stumbled across a CBC clip of the leaders' debate of June 9, 1968 (click on clip 3). They are debating Trudeau's infamous "Omnibus Bill" which, among dealing with many other social and moral issues, decriminalized homosexuality. Real Caouette of the Creditistes says that if Canada decriminalized homosexuality, the next thing would be marriage between two men or two women. There's a flash of people looking at each other with a look of, "Right. Like that's going to happen."
