Dutch wisdom
You read it here, in Nederlands Dagblad, first (see comment by "vanens"). According to him, the reason the GS of the CanRC had some criticisms about our Dutch sister churches is simply because we are stuck in and driven by a post-war immigrant Dutch mentality. Proof, according to Dutch guy, is the universal phenomenon of immigrants always being more fanatic then the people who stayed behind. Exhibit "A": the Moroccan immigrants to Holland who are more fanatic then the Moroccans of Morocco. The attitude beggars belief.

It's a well known sociological phenomenon that immigrant communities are more conservative than their source communities.
Sociology is becoming more important in some GKN circles than the gospel. Instead of authoritative revelation, we have descriptive sociology. Rob Schouten
A friend reminded me that the comment is not from ND itself but from an online reader. Point well taken.
