War Memorial

Today, with thousands and thousands of fellow Canadians, we attended the ceremony at the National War memorial. Unfortunately, we were way back in the crowd and could see very little. But it was good. The 21 gun salute was impressive as was the fly by of four fighter jets. After the ceremony, thousands of people spontaneously walked forward and placed their poppy on the tomb of the unknown soldier. A very impressive display of love and thanks.
