We are experiencing an interesting convergence of weather systems. Easterlies are blowing across Lake Ontario subjecting Hamilton, at the lake's western tip, to snow squalls and streamers. Today, already, about 30 cm of lake-effect snow has fallen. A storm that has been churning up from the south-west (Oklahoma) is likely going to dump another 10-15 cm on our area. If the lake-effect keeps up over night, we may end up with a total of 70 cm of snow before things settle down.
