If the Ontario Conservatives win the Oct. 10 provincial election, faith-based schools in Ontario will be offered full funding -- provided they teachthe Ontario curriculum and that the teachers are accredited, by provincial standards. What will/should the Christian schools do?

If we have to teach the Ontario curriculum and hire accredited teachers and are limited to teaching "religion" to a separate class, how does that differ from just joining the public system? Also, would we have to open our doors to anyone who wants to send their children to our school?
Just some thoughts that concern me about this funding business.

I think you make a good point, Lisa, and ask a good question. I'm reminded of the little proverb: "he who holds the shekels holds the shackles."
